Shots Fired at Paris Newspaper

Paris police are on a manhunt after a gunman opened fire at a newspaper office, shooting a photographer’s assistant twice near the heart, police said. The gunman fled after the attack, and there was no indication of his motive or why he chose the offices of Liberation. A gunman also opened fire at the bank Societe Generale nearby, but there were no injuries. Another man was carjacked in the same neighborhood. In yet another incident, a gunman broke into BFMTV on Friday and threatened journalists before leaving. The description of the man at Liberation matched that of the man who broke into BFMTV.
