Sierra Leone Bans Hiding Ebola Patients

TAKING MEASURES

WHO says practice has hurt response.

The common practice of hiding Ebola patients has now been banned by Sierra Leone, after the World Health Organization said it believes the practice has created a significant underestimation of the outbreak. The law carries prison sentences of up to two years for those caught. Sierra Leone has seen at least 910 Ebola cases, and 392 deaths.
