One police officer was killed and three were wounded Saturday after a six-hour-long standoff between authorities and a gunman holed up in side a house in rural Mississippi. The incident started with a domestic dispute call and escalated when Charles Lee Lambert, armed with a gun, refused to negotiate with police. Officers stormed the house, and it was then that James Lee Tartt was shot and killed. He was 44.
