A Las Vegas mom who was fatally shot last week went home before returning to look for a man suspected of killing her in an alleged road-rage incident, police said Tuesday. Tammy Meyers, 44, was giving her 15-year-old daughter a driving lesson when they got into an altercation with a man speeding by in another car, according to Las Vegas Police Lt. Ray Steiber. The mother of four returned home and told her daughter to get her 22-year-old brother, who then got into the car with a registered firearm. Meyers again encountered the other car and followed it before returning home. After arriving home, a gray or silver sedan pulled up and gunfire broke out, Steiber said. Meyers was struck in the head and taken to a hospital, where she died on Valentine’s Day. Steiber said police believe a bullet from the suspect’s gun struck Meyers.
