Small-Jobs Bill Overcomes Filibuster

Scheduled for final vote this week.

It may not be a second stimulus, but President Obama’s $30 billion bill to create a fund to aid small businesses has overcome a Republican filibuster in the Senate. Republican Senator George Voinovich was one of two Republicans to join Democrats in the vote. A final vote has been scheduled for later this week.
