No surprise here: Women are dominating the photo-sharing app Snapchat, just as they dominate Instagram, Pinterest, and other social-media sites. Roughly 70 percent of users are female, though the company has not disclosed its total number. We only know that 400 million self-destructing photos and videos are exchanged per day. Lest the 70 percent figure perpetuate the stereotype that impulsive teenage girls are Snapchatting pictures of their lady bits to eager young men, remember that the company has yet to release any other demographics.
