Solange Knowles, singer, songwriter, DJ, model—and kid sister of superstar Beyoncé—has married longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson. The couple were wed Sunday at Marigny Opera House, a nondenominational church close to the bride’s home in New Orleans. The marriage to Ferguson, 51, a videographer and director of videos who has worked with Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z, among others, is the second wedding for Solange, 28, who has a 10-year-old son from her first marriage. The bride told Harper’s Bazaar this year that marrying and divorcing at a young age gave her an “insane amount” of persepective on life.
