South Africa’s Department of Justice said it could “intervene” to prevent Olympian Oscar Pistorius from leaving prison Friday after serving just 10 months of his five-year sentence. Pistorius is scheduled to serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest at his uncle’s mansion. In a statement to the AP, the department said it is checking whether it is allowed to interfere in the parole board’s May decision.
