South Africa beat England 32 to 12 to take the Rugby World Cup title in Yokohama, Japan, on Saturday morning. The South African team was led by the team’s first black captain, Siya Kolisi, marking an historical first for a nation marked by historical racial segregation through apartheid, which ended in 1994. South Africa had previously won the title 12 years ago, in 2007, and 12 years before that in 1995.
