South Korea Arrests 8 for MERS Rumors

South Korean police have arrested eight people for spreading false information about MERS as the country battles a breakout. One of the eight allegedly posed as a reporter to spread false information. Five others incorrectly identified hospitals treating MERS patients, and the remaining two are civil servants who are said to have released the names of suspected MERS cases without consent. Nine people have died of the viral illness in South Korea so far.
