Starbucks Updates Its Logo

Redesigns

Drops its name from famous image.

Your double mocha venti latte has a new look: Starbucks has dropped the words “Starbucks Coffee” from its logo. The company’s paper cups will now be printed solely with an image of the company’s sea nymph. It’s the fourth iteration of the company’s logo and the first to not feature the company’s name. The hope is that the wordless logo will help Starbucks expand into new business lines and international markets.
