The State Department paid more than $15,000 for 19 rooms at the new Trump hotel in Vancouver in February, The Washington Post reported Wednesday. This is the first evidence of the State Department funding expenses at a Trump-brand property since President Trump took office. Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, their spouses, and Tiffany Trump were all in attendance at the grand opening of the Vancouver tower. The details of the expense’s invoice were redacted.
