California Attorney General Kamala Harris has now joined a lawsuit against a utility company in the state responsible for a sizeable natural gas leak. It has driven thousands from their homes in Los Angeles and leaked over two million tons of methane. The company in question, the Southern California Gas Company, has been accused of violated state laws and failing to report the leak for three days after it had noticed the problem.
