Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker died on Sunday, his official website announced. He was 67. The website did not provide information about the cause of death. His Steely Dan partner Donald Fagen previously said Becker would miss concerts while he recovers from an unspecified procedure. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and release their first LP in 1972. Fagen released a statement following Becker’s death, saying in part: “I intend to keep the music we created together alive as long as I can with the Steely Dan band.”
