Stephenie Meyer To Release New Book

Stephenie Meyer may have sworn off Twilight – but she’s already writing again: the bestselling author will release The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella on June 5, USA Today reported Tuesday. It’s an 192-page spin-off on Eclipse, the Twilight saga’s third installment. The book follows Bree Tanner, a “newborn vampire” in the army fighting against Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) – but who only appears on page 569 of Eclipse. Though it’s not clear whether Bree Tanner will also become a movie, certain plot-points are being referenced in the upcoming Eclipse, which hits theatres June 30. Bree Tanner is slated for release on June 5, and one dollar from each book sold will benefit the Red Cross.
