The cause of Steve Jobs’s death has been made official. It was respiratory arrest caused by spreading pancreatic cancer that ultimately killed the former Apple CEO last week. No autopsy was necessary, as Jobs has suffered from cancer for several years, but his death certificate was released Monday. Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced Monday that a celebration of Jobs will be held Oct. 19.
