Stewart, Colbert to Host D.C. Rallies

Ask and you shall receive: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are going to stage competing rallies on the National Mall after an Internet campaign begged them to do so after Glenn Beck’s rally. “[W]e'd like you to join us in Washington, D.C. on October 30—a date of no significance whatsoever—at the Daily Show's ‘Rally to Restore Sanity,’” says Stewart's event website. Colbert's competing rally is called The March to Keep Fear Alive.
