As Congress wrapped up its meetings on the stimulus bill, President Obama slipped in $8 billion for one of his pet issues: railroads. The money will be used for the construction of high-speed rails that will link cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles. "I'm glad I get the credit," Reid told Politico, "but this is Obama's No. 1 priority. This is his legacy issue out of this bill."
