Feel that chill? A powerful winter storm took 13 lives this weekend, as it swept through California, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, causing vehicle crashes, electrical outages, and falling trees. The storm is predicted to move into the Northeast on Wednesday, and may be problematic for the 43 million people expected to travel 50 miles or more over the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend. Storm warnings are in place in parts of New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma until Monday.
