Newly filed court documents show that former International Monetary Fund Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn tried to claim diplomatic immunity in order to avoid being arrested on charges of attempted rape. He also said his handcuffs were too tight. Other portions of the documents show an apparently confused Strauss-Kahn, demanding to police officers trying to question him, “What is this about?” Strauss-Kahn and his lawyers have steadfastly denied charges that he attacked a hotel maid. He is currently free on $1 million bail but under house arrest.
