Student Found Unconscious at Frat Dies

A student found unconscious at a West Virginia University campus on Wednesday has died. Police found 18-year-old Nolan Michael Burch unconscious and not breathing at the school’s Kappa Sigma fraternity house, where someone was attempting CPR. The school’s chapter of the fraternity has been suspended since mid-October because of other violations of the fraternity’s code of conduct. The day after Burch was found, the WVU administration ordered a halt to all activities at fraternities and sororities. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of Burch’s death.
