Instructor Terry Dunlap Sr. was demonstrating how to use a handgun when he accidentally fired a .38-caliber round, which ricocheted off a desk and hit a student, who was rushed to a nearby hospital and released the same day. “I am thankful that it only ended up being in my arm, and didn’t hit my wife or individuals sitting at the desk behind me,” said the student.
