Subway acknowledged Saturday in a statement that it received one “serious” complaint in 2011about ex-pitchman Jared Fogel, who has been charged with paying for sex with minors and receiving and distributing child pornography. The complaint did not imply “anything about sexual behavior or criminal activity,” according to Subway, which has completed its internal investigation. The complaint came from a Florida journalist, Rochelle Herman-Walron, who said she had worked with the FBI to investigate the ex-spokesman after he told her he had had sex with minors.
