Suicide Bombers Kill 22 in Afghanistan

In attack on provincial governor's office.

Gunmen wearing suicide-bomb vests killed 16 civilians and six police officers when they stormed an Afghan governor's office in Parwan province, north of Kabul. The Afghan Interior Ministry said initial reports suggest at least six explosions went off. The Taliban has claimed responsibility, as it also has for a recent string of high-profile targets.
