No wonder the iPhone 4S is selling out. Research in Motion, the BlackBerry manufacturer, said Tuesday that a “core switch failure” is behind the worldwide outage. BlackBerry reported Tuesday that the outage had spread to some Latin American countries, which joined Europe, the Middle East, and India in having messaging and browsing delays. RIM said it’s working to restore the normal service, and apologized to customers for any inconvenience.
