Congregation members at Ohawe Sholam in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, discovered a red swastika spray-painted on the temple’s outdoor sign Sunday morning. Police say they may investigate the incident as a hate crime. “People need to see that this happened,” said David Pliskin, the congregation’s president. “That’s how we make sure what happened in Germany never happens again.”
