Syrian Fire Crosses Turkish Border

As over 100 are killed throughout country Monday.

Syrian forces crossed more than one line when they exchanged fire with rebel forces in a clash that spilled over into Turkey. One person was killed and more injured at the Killis refugee camp on the Turkish side of the shared border. Turkey has been welcoming refugees from the embattled nation ever since a popular uprising against the Syrian regime turned violent. 50 Syrians died in violence Monday, another sign that a proposed ceasefire brokered by the UN will do little to stop the conflict. Meanwhile, it was reported that a Lebanese journalist was killed by gunfire along the Syrian-Lebanese border after being struck by fire that appeared to come from the Syrian side.
