So why doesn’t Taye Diggs star as an action hero then? The Private Practice star reportedly managed to catch—by himself—a man who was attempting to break into his house on Sunday night. Diggs and his wife, actress Idina Menzel, returned home from the SAG awards shortly after 11 p.m. when a man allegedly tried to break into their house. Diggs reportedly confronted the suspect, who took off running—only to be chased down by Diggs. After catching up with the intruder, Diggs allegedly held the man for about 20 minutes until police arrived. Only one thing stopped it from being perfect: police sources told TMZ that a suspect driving a getaway car did in fact manage to get away.
