Looks like Tea Party supporters are still holding out for the dark horses: At a national summit of the Tea Party Patriots, an Atlanta-based group, Tea Party voters selected Georgia radio host Herman Cain for president in 2012. In a simultaneous online poll, Tea Partiers overwhelmingly picked Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul, who won over a third of the overall votes from both of the polls. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Sarah Palin came in second behind Cain in the live straw poll, with 9 percent each. Cain, Paul, and Pawlenty were the only three potential 2012 candidates to speak at the event.
