Only three weeks into his new daytime talk show, Anderson, Anderson Cooper has a tragedy on his hands: a teen who was documenting his life for an episode on teenagers’ minds had a skateboarding accident and ended up in a coma. The show confirmed that it had asked the teen for video footage and photos, but did not give him a camera. "I was very saddened to hear the news of this accident, and want to express my deepest concerns for the teenager who was injured," Cooper said in a statement.
