A Doogie Howser wannabe was arrested on Friday for pretending to be a physician's assistant at a Florida hospital. Matthew Scheidt, 17, who had worked at the hospital as a billing clerk, managed to get his hands on nursing garb and fooled emergency room officials into thinking he was a med student shadowing other physicians' assistants. He got so far as to perform CPR on a patient and allegedly conducted physical examinations on several disrobed male patients. The hospital would not comment after Scheidt was arrested on Friday, and though no foul play has been reported yet, injury lawyers in the region are already preparing to take action.
