A 17-year-old teenager, Cormega Copening, in North Carolina was prosecuted for having nude pictures of himself on his phone. The charge was that he was sexually exploiting a minor; that minor being himself. He had to strike a plea deal to avoid going to jail and being registered as a sex offender. He was forced to agree to warantless searches by law enforcement for a year as part of the deal.
