At least eight people were killed and several others injured when a church bus traveling through Jefferson County, Tenn, crossed the median striking a passenger car and a tractor-trailer, which caught fire. Five medical helicopters were sent to the scene and I-40 near Jefferson City, was shut down. It’s not clear what caused the bus to veer into oncoming traffic.
