More bad news for Rick Perry. Texas has decided to push its primary back from March 6 to April 3, because of a dispute of the legislatures redistricting maps. The change means that Texas will not be participating in Super Tuesday, and it could deprive Rick Perry of a crucial early win to boost his campaign. Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court blocked the state's interim-redistricting maps, effectively abolishing all congressional and legislative districts. The parties were given the option of splitting the primaries or pushing them back, and chose the latter.
