The movie, which cost Warner Bros. $40 million to produce and opened to underwhelming reviews, placed no. 1 in the North American box office. The movie was followed by a $12 million tie between Kevin Hart: What Now? and The Girl on the Train. High expectations for Emily Blunt’s Gone Girl-like thriller have seen it bring in a domestic total of $46.6 million over the past two weeks.
