Blago's state Senate trial is scheduled to open today. Blago advised onlookers to interpret the Senate's surety of his guilt as a sign of his innocence. "I think what you'll see is a roll call that will be pre-designed, and we'll see whether or not I even get one vote." He said that to resign now "would be to disgrace my children." He is not expected to show up at his trial.
