Kristen Stewart promotes her new film in Balenciaga, Kerry Washington looks pretty in pink, and Jessica Chastain stuns in yellow. See our fashion highs and lows of the week.

Stewart is stepping it up on her red carpet whirl for the final installment of the Twilight franchise—and a rumored rekindling with Robert Pattinson. Her week of exposure coincided nicely with the AFI premiere of her other new film, On the Road, for which she wore a Balenciaga high-waisted black pants and a white top from Nicolas Ghesquiere’s final collection for the house.

Washington is a regular on our lists—and recently she’s been on a roll. On Wednesday, she wore a pink silk Temperley London dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and Martin Katz earrings and rings to the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton.

Moore kept it clean and simple in a white off-the-shoulder Calvin Klein dress at the 2012 Ace Awards in New York City on Nov. 5.

The actress looked stunning in a black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress at the AFI premiere of Holy Motors in Los Angeles on Nov. 3.

Black, white: there’s something just right about the black-and-white Stella McCartney dress Cameron Diaz wore to the world premiere of Gambit in London on Nov. 7.

Sure, she did resemble a disco ball, but Karlie Kloss lit up the “pink” carpet at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on Wednesday night in a short KaufmanFranco dress.

Despite reports that Knightley brought almost $2 million worth of fine jewelry to the set of Anna Karenina, she wasn’t dripping in jewels at a New York screening of the movie on Wednesday night. Instead, she wore a black Valentino Couture dress with embroidered sleeves. Shame, then, that she was forced to stand in a corner next to a movie poster.

Despite cold temperatures in New York, Chastain showed up at the opening night of her Broadway play, The Heiress, in a sheer lemon Spring 2013 dress by Stella McCartney.

It was inevitable: the week that Daniel Craig promoted Skyfall was destined for sartorial greatness. And sure enough, he trotted out in a series of perfectly tailored suits and tuxedos. But he looked particularly debonair on The Tonight Show on Wednesday night in a grey suit and an All Saints tie.

In a sea of slinky dresses and minimal silhouettes, it’s rare to see a star twirl down the red carpet in a dress of ball gown–size proportions. But Amy Adams came out strong on the red carpet of On the Road at its AFI premiere last Saturday, in a black silk Dolce & Gabbana dress that made her look like the belle of the ball.

Cotillard’s usually in something black, strapless, and Dior, so this rubbery oversize dress, albeit also Dior, came as something of a surprise. It’s something we’d expect to see on Lady Gaga. But Cotillard can sort of pull anything off.

Sure, the Victoria’s Secret fashion show is a parade of lingerie, but Joan Smalls took the theme literally, wearing a mesh dress with underwear that were, well, also mesh.

He may have been performing in a sea of models twice his size, but that didn’t stop wee Bieber from styling himself to the nines at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Unfortunately, that included oversize black harem pants and a blue sleeveless leather vest.
