The latest celebrity rant has come with a cost. After going berserk on June 25 for being called out for using the hashtag #thinspiration on an Instagram post about weight loss, Adam Richman has had his new show postponed by the Travel Channel on Tuesday. Richman, the popular host of Man vs. Food, was told on his Instagram page that the hashtag is used in pro-anorexia and pro-bulimia circles, to which Richman responded “DILLIGAF?” (translation: Do I Look Like I Give a F*ck?). Richman told another critic, “Grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you.” Another was told that the only messed-up thing was “your dad’s choice to go without a condom.” Richman tweeted two apologies that he later took down. “In real life, if you say stuff you regret in anger, you cool down, apologize & move on. If you’re a celeb on social media—it becomes a blog,” which was then followed by, “Yes. I’ve responded to Internet hate recently with vile words directed at those hating me. I am sorry, I should know better & will do better."
