For his Fall/Winter 2014 collection, New York-based fashion designer Thom Browne transformed an open loft space in Chelsea into a church filled with pews, burning incense, and fashionable alter boys. Models dressed as chic nuns—with sharp eyebrows, dip-dyed black nails, and white veils—took the runway in a nearly monochromatic collection of sharply-tailored coats with voluminous sleeves, pencil skirts with accentuated hips, and an array of flared dresses. The latter half of the show featured gilded ensembles, most notably a gold suit set and the final look, a short-sleeved high-low frock. See highlights from the runway.
