Three people say they may sue Rupert Murdoch in American courts, a source tells Reuters. The three individuals believe they were targeted by Glenn Mulcaire, a private investigator in the employ of News of the World, according to the source. If the three do file lawsuits against the media mogul, it will mark the first legal action taken against News Corp. in the States after the company has been pounded by lawsuits in Britain. According to Reuters’ sources, the three people were shown documents by the London police indicating that Mulcaire had investigated the three on behalf of News of the World in the U.S.
