More gruesome finds on Long Island: A recent search on a remote New York beach for victims of a suspected serial killer found the remains of three more people, authorities said Monday. A total of eight sets of human remains connected to the murderer have now been discovered. One person's remains were found last week along the highway leading to Jones Beach, a crowded summer day-trip spot. That victim has not yet been identified, and police are not yet certain that the remains are connected to the bodies of four prostitutes discovered in December in the same poison ivy-infested bramble patch where others were found Monday. It took more than a month to identify the previous four Craigslist escorts in their twenties whose remains were scattered 500 yards apart from each other. Police have not yet designated any suspects.
