The Nebraska toddler seen repeating obscenities and racial slurs being thrown at him in an online video has been taken into child protective custody by Omaha police. While police said there was nothing criminal in the video, authorities took the infant and three other children into custody after an investigation found safety concerns. At one point in the video, the African-American toddler responds to one of the adults saying, “Shut up, bitch.” The police in Omaha called the clip part of a “cycle of violence and thuggery” in the community.
