Powerful federal appeals court judge Alex Kozinski announced his immediate retirement from the 9th Circuit on Monday morning after at least 15 women came forward to make claims about sexual misconduct against him. Nine new women were cited in a single Washington Post article that was published on Friday. Kozinski claimed that his “broad sense of humor” and “candid way of speaking” accounted for the allegations but he accepted that he could not continue to do his job effectively whilst battling against the claims.
