A tractor-trailer and a minivan collided in upstate New York on Wednesday, killing seven people, four of whom were under the age of 10. The trailer broke from its rig on a two-lane highway outside Syracuse, crossed over the center line, and crashed into a minivan filled with eight people--reportedly not all from the same family. The crash's sole survivor was taken to a hospital in Syracuse, but that person's identity is not yet known.
