Five gold miners in Tanzania were rescued after being trapped for 41 days after a mine shaft collapsed. When they returned however, they discovered their property was given away when they were presumed dead. They had initially gone down in order to find 11 other missing coworkers. This marks one of the longest lengths of time that miners have been trapped.
