Donald Trump on Friday continued to defend his ethnicity-based insults aimed at the judge overseeing a lawsuit against Trump University. In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, the GOP nominee said that U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel cannot effectively do his job because “He’s a Mexican.” Curiel was born in Indiana. “He’s proud of his his heritage,” Trump continued. “I’m building a wall between here and Mexico.”
