In an interview with The Washington Post, Donald Trump said he promised to give $1 million to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, four months after the GOP candidate pledged that amount during a highly publicized Jan. 28 fundraiser in Iowa for veterans groups. After persistent questions from media organizations, Trump finally said Monday where the money would be given. He also pushed back on his own campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s earlier claim that the “money is fully spent.”
