Tim Nolan, a former Kentucky judge who served as a local chair for Donald Trump's presidential campaign, pleaded not guilty to an 11-count indictment with charges including rape, witness tampering, human trafficking of a minor, human trafficking of five adults, unlawful transaction with a minor, and prostitution. Nolan's attorney, Margo Grubbs, claimed Nolan's bail, originally set at $50,000, had been too high and that several allegations against Nolan are connected to a lawsuit he filed against the operators of the website GOPFacts.org, which previously claimed Nolan had dressed in Ku Klux Klan robes. “I would call it a conspiracy,” Grubbs said. “You read the contents and find out. Go to the website and look at what they done to him.” If Nolan is found guilty on all counts, he faces more than 100 years in prison. His next hearing is scheduled for July 7.
