If Donald Trump is proving anything to American allies in the first days of his presidency, it’s that he can’t be trusted.
That’s according to The New Abnormal’s Danielle Moodie, who, along with co-host Andy Levy, bemoans Trump’s move to slap tariffs on Canada and Mexico last week. The decision caused hedge funds to bet against Trump’s economy, Moodie noted, while citing a Wall Street Journal opinion piece entitled: “The Dumbest Trade War in History.”
“This motherf---er who wrote the Art of the Deal is tanking every single deal that we have. It is extraordinary because I think that he may tank our economy faster than any other Republican president that usually takes their entire first term in order to do that. I think Donald Trump is gonna do it within the first 100 days.”
