While visiting with U.S. and South Korean troops stationed at Camp Humphreys on Tuesday, President Trump repeatedly offered reassurances that the situation with North Korea “will all work out.” After having lunch with the troops in a show of solidarity, the president commended them as “very impressive,” the Associated Press reports. Trump told reporters he planned to broach the subject of North Korea with South Korean military generals. He said it will “all work out because it always works out. It has to work out.” The visit to South Korea marks his second stop on a 12-day Asia tour. After receiving an operational briefing at Camp Humphreys, the president is due to head to Seoul to meet with President Moon Jae-in, with whom he said he plans to discuss trade issues. He said “hopefully that will start working out” too.
